Removing the BookNow App from Facebook

You will need to do 2 things to remove the Genbook BookNow! App from your Facebook business page. (Note: You should perform these tasks in order, for best results)

1. Remove the application tab from your Facebook page  

2. De-authorize the BookNow application.

Here's a step-by-step guide to both of these processes:

1. Removing the BookNow! tab from your page.

A) Click the "Edit Info" link at the top of your Facebook page.

B) On the Page Info screen, select the Apps tab. Then, click the "x" next to the "Genbook BookNow! Application" to remove that tab from your Page. Be sure to confirm that you wish to remove the application when asked. (Note: This will NOT fully remove the application, it will only remove the sidebar tab from the page.)

2. De-authorizing the Genbook BookNow! Application.

A) From the Account menu at the top right of your Facebook screen, select "Privacy Settings". (Note: You can only do this if you are using Facebook as yourself, not as your business page.)

B) At the bottom left of your Privacy Settings page, you'll see an Apps and websites section. Click the "Edit your settings" link under that heading.

C) On the following page, click the Edit settings button.

D) Click the "x" at the far right of the Genbook BookNow! Application.

E) Finally, click the "Remove" button in the dialog box that asks if you wish to de-authorize the application. (Note: Despite this warning, the tab is not automatically removed. Be sure to take the steps outlined above to remove the tab yourself.)

You should then see a dialog box confirming that the Genbook BookNow! Application has been completely removed from your account.
