You have the option of publishing your Verified Customer Reviews in a separate tab of your full-screen scheduling page. First, make sure that you have enabled reviews, under Customer Reviews in your Settings tab.
When reviews are enabled, clients receive a review invite email 24 hours after their first appointment with your business, then again at 90 day intervals for as long as they continue making appointments with you. This ensures that every review you receive is from a legitimate, existing customer.

On the Customer Reviews page (Settings > Customer Reviews), you can also choose whether or not to automatically publish new reviews. Choosing NOT to automatically publish reviews gives you the opportunity to read them before you decide to share them with the world. Genbook will notify you, by email, each time you receive a new review, so you don't have to worry about them slipping through the cracks.
Another important thing you can do on the Customer Reviews page is determine whether client names will be published, or hidden to protect your clients' privacy.
Here's what the Reviews tab of your scheduling page will look like:
The latest reviews also show up in the "Make an Appointment" tab, under your business details.

Your website and email to clients state that reviews get published on sites including Google, however, I have searched all over for reviews on the search engines and none of the GENBOOK reviews show up. Currently, only the people that have clicked the "book now" buttons actually see the 16 reviews I have for my business. How long does it take for this information to appear on the sites?
I have a customer who saw the reviews on my site and now wants to write one. Is there any way for me/us to generate a review email?
We are working on getting reviews into Google, however we've met with some snags along the way.
Kim, there isn't currently a way to send the review invite manually. If clients continue making appointments via Genbook, they'll get another review invite after 6 months.
Hello, I am curious if the feature "Shamara" inquired about {reviews from Genbook being published to Google} has been fixed yet?? Thanks!
Khara, we're unfortunately still not publishing reviews on Google just yet. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
I have several very positive 5-star reviews that I'd really like to show up on my Google Place Page. It's not easy to get good honest reviews like these. Please try to work through these "snags" and get comments publishing to Google. My competitors are getting their comments published and they are beating me bad.
What is the status on publishing to Google? There are many other sites that are able to publish their reviews and it is quickly becoming a large deterrent in becoming a loyal genbook user. Please let us know!
At this time, I'm afraid we don't have an update on when publishing reviews to Google or other sites will be possible. Stay tuned, as it's definitely something we'd let you know about when it happens.
As a loyal genbook user, it is of paramount importance to me that you find a way for Genbook reviews to make it onto my google listing!!! I have over 50 five star genbook reviews, yet my google listing shows four. Compared to my competition, who have 15, 20, 30+!!! PLEASE don't underestimate how imperative it is that this issue be resolved soon. I won't continue to pay for the service when it is hindering my social media presence. Why is it so hard? Many other sites quickly merge with google places.
We agree, and we're on it! We've been working hard to optimize Genbook reviews so they show up on Google and elsewhere on the Web.
Just let us pull them into our own sites? A simple api to pull reviews onto sites would suffice. We would have a wordpress plug-in up in minutes. Also, an embeddable scheduling widget of sorts seems ideal as well.
I've read that you now have the reviews showing on google places. I'm not seeing anything on mine. Is this really up and going??
Foothills Massage Therapy, yes, Genbook has optimized reviews for display on Google Place pages. However when they show up there is not within our control, and depends on Google's end.
Be sure you've claimed your business's place page, by the way.
Can you lower the number of characters. For some reason I have been receiving reviews that actually comment on that. I know... they are lazy but they are paying me. Thanks... you guys ROCK!!!
My reviews aren't publishing automatically or otherwise. Why not?
FitGirl1068, please contact our Customer Care Team from the Support tab in your account so that we can troubleshoot the issue for you.
How often are reviews published/unpublished?
Publication and removal of reviews to/from your scheduling page takes up to 24 hours, once you've selected either option.
Since you are no longer able to be searched by Google for our reviews it would be great to be able to send our clients an email with our Google place address for them to write a review there so that we can build our business better.
Are reviews made on Genbook published to Google Places reviews? If not, why not? If yes, can you please clarify how this process works (is it via API, or only if Google crawls our Genbook reviews, or what).
Thank you :)
ArcTerran, Genbook reviews are not published on Google Places, as Google is at this time not publishing 3rd party reviews on their Places/Plus pages.
I would like to know is it possible to respond back to customer reviews? This would be a great feature so that us as merchants can tell our side of the story so to speak!
Ethailia, it is not currently possible to respond to customer reviews in Genbook.
